Want to pick up an Amazon Bestseller? #YouBeneathYourSkin

With both blogging and writing, I’ve arrived at a watershed moment.

The site will switch over to the new design over the weekend and with it will come the usual bugs that afflict a new site. Writing wise, I have just come out with my new novel, You Beneath Your Skin.

It has been a bit of an eye-opener, You Beneath Your Skin.

It’s about 2 weeks old, and it has already found a top Bollywood agent, topped Amazon US and UK bestseller lists in various categories, and provided me a great book tour experience in India.

You Beneath Your Skin Back CoverNot sure what is next, but I never thought Amazon bestseller and my name would ever be used in the same sentence without the use of NOT.

How has September been for you?

Mine was a whirlwind due to You Beneath Your Skin. Have you grabbed a copy?

For this weekend, You Beneath Your Skin is on Kindle Unlimited.

Grab a copy if the blurb invites you–my proceeds from the book would go to two brave organisations: Project WHY and Stop Acid Attacks.

    Congratulations!

A Bollywood agent? Wow! Here in the Seattle area, there are lots of Bollywood showings, because of all the Microsoft and other tech workers.

  • Congratulations, Damyanti, it sounds just my’cup of tea’ to read and will have to order through Amazon but hope you make enough from the book to help your causes.

    • Damyanti Biswas says:

Thanks so much! I do hope you pick it up, and please let me know if you do.

      • Have got it on my kindle and enjoyed the first two chapters. I lived in India for short periods about 40 years ago and liked reading fiction set there then so this is a special treat. Am already engaged with your characters so a good start!

        • Damyanti Biswas says:

That’s wonderful to hear. Thanks for letting me know, and I’d love to know when you finish it.

          • Yes, will keep in touch. Although I prefer a hard copy of a book, kindle has a lot to offer in terms of speed of delivery! I also like how it tells you how long it might take to read! That’s important to me for my book as I try to refocus it on the Young Adult market.

  • Awesome. Found you through IWSG. You must be super excited.

  • I wouldn’t be able to stand still, Damyanti. Your excitement must be keeping you in perpetual motion. Best well deserved wishes. Woot, woot, woot!

    • Damyanti Biswas says:

I’m a little exhausted, to be honest–but the motivation comes from wanting to fundraise for the two orgs I’m hoping to support with my proceeds from the book. If not real solid money that would support them, I hope to bring an increased visibility for Project WHY and Stop Acid Attacks.

  • Ten cheers for you, Damyanti! Woohoo!

    • Damyanti Biswas says:

Thanks for being SUCH a godd friend, Jacqui. Don’t have words for how grateful I am.

  • Ronel Janse van Vuuren says:

    Congrats!

  • sharmistha77 says:

Congrats Damayanti. So happy that your book has become successful! It must be an amazing feeling.

    • Damyanti Biswas says:

      Thanks so much, Sharmistha.

(The book is doing well, but I’ll consider it successful when it is able to fund education programs for Project WHY and Stop Acid attacks. Ambitious plan, but a girl can dream, right?)

  • I’ve ordered one through Amazon in addition to possessing a paperback of the best seller. I can thoroughly recommend those who want a thrilling read on important social issues and the way they are handled to buy one before this printing runs out. They are moving fast so move quickly to get one while they are available.

    • Damyanti Biswas says:

Thanks so much, Ian. So happy you liked the book. And yes, I can (fortunately) confirm that the book is selling fast.

  • Pam Lazos says:

p.s. I’ve started reading YBYS and am captivated. Don’t know if I’ll finish in time for your appearance on GLBW blog, but will try!

  • Pam Lazos says:

This is fantastic, Damyanti! I am very excited and happy for you and I hope your success continues to raise awareness and funds for both your awesome projects and talent. Have a great weekend. xo

Hiya – congratulations galore … so brilliant for you – the book is so well written … I’m still hooked – just behind in life … including reading it, and then writing the review … will get there … !!! But you are a star … in life, in the firmament … just enjoy …. and the two charities (Chaanv Foundation and Project WHY) are so well worth any funding coming their way … so good to see … cheers Hilary

    • Damyanti Biswas says:
